Triple Camber Hybrid is a game changing innovation. The center rocker of this Rocker Camber profile now contains a third camber area creating two small high pressure rocker sections on either side. The result is R.I.P. Edge Hold Technology, a powerful edge hold tech without the drag of serrated edges and a balanced ride not found in any other profile. Triple Camber Hybrid makes the most efficient use of your entire edge. The primary edge hold starts from the center of the board. It’s insanely responsive and stable and aids the high performance engagement of the two outside camber areas located under your feet. The overall Hybrid rocker shape retains the effortless float, playful and forgiving feel, vice-like edge hold, rocket launching pop, and insane butterability. Game changed.
Never Summer topsheets are very durable, lightweight, scratch and chip resistant fiber backed thermoplastic. These premium topsheets also provide extremely vibrant colors along with more grip than other topsheet materials, working as a built in stomp pad. Co-Extruded premium topsheets (Nylon and Polyester) include Hex-Tech, Carbonium, Matte and TruGrit Topsheets.
BI-LITE FIBERGLASS combines many of the strength characteristics of Never Summer's STS fiberglass with an ultra light glass fiber matrix. This delivers incredible freestyle and freeride performance without sacrificing durability.
RDS 2 or Rubber Damping System 2 is the perfect balance of freeride stability and freestyle liveliness. A more substantial system than a freestyle board to stabilze the board at higher speeds but a little less than damping in a freeride board for leaving the snow. An ideal combination of vibration absorbtion and energetic feel.
ALLPOP WOOD CORE is comprised of extremely light Poplar stringers throughout the full length of the wood core. This durable wood is highly impact resistant and very energetic providing a consistent and stable flex pattern. Poplar wood also has natural damping characteristics giving a snowboard a very smooth ride.
Never Summer was the first snowboard company to use and perfect UHMW POLYETHYLENE SIDEWALL (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene), and they have never seen one crack. Unlike conventional ABS sidewalls, that have a tendency to crack in colder temperatures, UHMW POLYETHYLENE SIDEWALL maintain their integrity at any temperature. UHMW Polyethylene sidewalls also enhance damping characteristics above the metal edge.
Never Summer's suppliers have developed an exclusive, super fast, durable sintered base specifically for their boards. Just the right amount of graphite has been added making the DURASURF XT SINTERED 5501 BASE one of the fastest and certainly the most durable P-Tex bases on the market.
