Step 1 - Tech Wash

IMPORTANT: Do not use conventional detergents or fabric softeners.

Front Loading Machine Wash:

Remove all detergent build-up from the detergent dispenser.
Place maximum of 2 garments in washing machine.
Add 3floz (100ml) of Tech Wash.
Select a normal cycle using warm/cold water and an extra rinse if possible.

Top Loading Machine Wash:

Place maximum 6 garments in washing machine.
After the machine has filled, 5floz (150ml) for 1-3 garments, 8floz (250ml) for 4-6 garments.
Select a normal cycle using warm/cold water and an extra rinse if possible.

Nikwax Tech Wash can also be applied by hand…

Use gloves.
Immerse item(s) in 2 gallons (7.5L) of warm water in a lundry tub or sink.
Add 1.5fl oz/50ml per item.
Agitate to mix.
Rinse 3 times in clean water.

Dry Garment(s)

Air dry or tumble dry on a low setting if care label allows. If re-waterproofing garment, apply waterproofing before drying.

Step 2 - TX.Direct Wash-In

IMPORTANT: Shake bottle before use. Conventional detergent can damage water repellency. Always clean first with Nikwax Tech Wash in a separate wash cycle.

Front Loading Machine Wash:

Remove all detergent build-up from the detergent dispenser.
Place maximum of 2 garments in washing machine.
Use 3.5fl oz/100ml per garment of TX.Direct.
Select a normal cycle using warm/cold water, slow spin and extra rinse if possible.

Top Loading Machine Wash:

Place maximum of 3 clean garments in washing machine.
After the machine has filled add 10fl oz/300ml of TX.Direct.
Select a normal cycle using warm/cold water, slow spin and extra rinse if possible.
