The Veloce Space 120, with a 101 mm adaptive fit, is designed to deliver great experiences in all conditions, with a focus on performance. Featuring Dalbello's Bi-Injected shell, the boot offers a responsive feel with reduced pressure points, thanks to its unique design. The IF Space liner offers innovative AUTOFIT tongue technology, with custom-molded memory foam inserts, ensures a snug fit, conforming to the shape of the leg for a customized and comfortable experience. It also benefits from Ankle Sense technology, an asymmetrical, long pre-shaped malleolus to better interact with the BOA system and improve sensitivity. The textile material covering the preformed asymmetrical malleolus comes from a recycled material. Offering an optimal balance of performance and versatility, helping you transmit the right energy from boot to ski. With the Contour 5 fit concept, extra space is molded into the shell in the navicular, both ankles, sixth toe area, and now the 5th contour involves pre-shaping the ankle areas of the liner itself.
The BOA® Alpine single-dial shell configuration delivers a micro-adjustable, multi-directional, precision fit that locks in the heel to deliver improved power transfer, stability, and control. BOA® is engineered and guaranteed to perform.
The shell has longer panels upwards along the shin for two main reasons:
Easier step in: higher panels allow the shell to be spread out with the hands and slide nimbly into the boot even in the coldest temperatures
Immediate power transmission: the shell is also connected to your shin and not just to the foot. This significantly improves the immediacy of impulse transmission from the skier to the equipment.
Permits skiers to precisely “fine tune” buckle closure tension for a more exact fit. With micro adjustment, you can twist the buckle to make it longer or shorter.
The mechanism partially frees the cuff from the shell allowing more natural walking.
The 'Ankle Sense' padding features an asymmetric and pre-shaped design, specifically crafted to improve responsiveness with the BOA system. It provides better lateral sensitivity through the use of rigid, preformed padding, improved heel hold thanks to its ergonomic shape, and optimal interaction with the pressure from the lacing system.
Better walking comfort and more grip - that's the big benefit of this boot mounted with GripWalk soles! These new soles are compatible with GripWalk specific bindings (marked with the GripWalk icon) without any height adjustment and can also be skied with touring bindings (ISO 13992). They are not compatible with regular alpine bindings (ISO norm 9462).
