By removing excess material in the toe and heel of the baseplate, and utilizing a brand new asymmetrical shape, Union drastically increased the torsional flex of the binding. The Ultra's Stage 11 ASYM baseplate allows for 360 degree board flex and feel.
Union's Astro ankle washer adds another level of confidence and security to your riding. Prevents heelcup slippage on binding models that only feature a single heelcup screw.
6 degrees of preloaded forward lean hugs your boot and allows for quick edge to edge response. While the all new molecular highback bushing provides increased freestyle flex and rebound while riding. This unique highback construction is exclusive to Union Binding Company.
Magnesium S1 ratchets are Union’s answer to the elements. A fully integrated spring protected from the harsh outside provides you with Union’s best ratchet to date. Longer life span and better spring return guaranteed.
