- WISP Resort in Deep Creek Maryland is the most convenient ski resort for Mountaineers. They have world class snow making equipment which works great for building those huge kickers. They also keep their lifts open until 9pm which is perfect for college students.
- Seven Springs Mountain Resort is one of the best resorts in Pennsylvania, located about an hour and a half from Morgantown. They have one of the most well maintained parks, which is always a relief after spending some time on a choppy half-pipe.
