Rock Climbing

Coopers Rock State Park is one of the best places for convenient climbing in the Morgantown area. Go out and make a weekend of it.

Seneca Rocks, West Virginia, is located in the Monongahela National Forest and is widely known for its great climbing. The rocks provide a popular challenge and the climb is very rewarding.

If you are a student at WVU and don't have the means of transportation to get you out of town, The Recreation Center, located in the center of Evansdale Campus in Morgantown, might be your best bet to keep you climbing all year round. Plus the Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) will drop you off right outside the door.
