- Coopers Rock State Park is one of Morgantown area's top-notch mountain biking destinations because of its close location, as well as it's nearly fifty miles of trails that weave though the beautiful woodlands of West Virginia.
- Big Bear Lake is another leading mountain biking destination around Morgantown. It's four looping trails introduce themselves with varying degrees of difficulty, ranging anywhere from 8 to 20 miles long.
